Cyberinfrastructure Training to Advance Climate Science” (CI-TRACS) Fellowship

Bjarne was selected to be a fellow with the Hawaiʻi Data Science Institute as part of a $1 million National Science Foundation grant to increase student cyberinfrastructure skills in climate science.

IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) Teaching Fellowship

Bjarne was selected to teach bioinformatics as part of the IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) program. INBRE is a federally funded grant program that encourages undergraduate students to pursue a biomedical science career through a PATHway Activity by providing them with research opportunities, mentoring workshops and workforce development at one of our eight academic institutional partners statewide.
